MEE and ATFD systems are advanced industrial solutions used for the concentration, evaporation, and drying of high TDS wastewater, chemical solutions, and effluents. Together, they form the core of Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems, ensuring maximum water recovery and converting residual effluents into dry solids for safe disposal.
The MEE concentrates wastewater using multi-effect evaporation, where vapor from one effect heats the next, reducing steam and energy consumption. The concentrated liquid from the MEE is then fed into the ATFD, which produces dry, free-flowing solids by forming a thin film on a heated surface with continuous agitation.
